Designs by two iconic designers meet on these very special lumbar pillow covers. In 1947 Josef Frank designed Citrus Garden, a hand drawn motif, for Schumacher, which reissued the archival print for their 125th anniversary. One side of our lumbar cover features the garden of citrus trees reimagined in the primary colorway of bright yellows, reds, greens, and blues, and is printed on 100% linen. The other side of the pillow cover has Barbara Barry’s Merida design from her partnership with Kravet Couture. Merida, in a washed teal colorway printed on a 80% cotton/20% linen blend, is a design you can easily get lost in, with its pale, almost-neutral, colors, quiet movement, and amorphous shapes. This is a very limited edition: only three pillow covers are available, and design placement will vary.
